There are two possible reason why you're still stuck there-
1)Nostalgic Comfort:You've shared great times with your ex,probably because at that time you were dating that person you were simply too free to have a lot of fun so you talked a lot,hung out a lot,had a lot of moments together;and now life has changed.It has taken the serious turn&demands you to the same.This happens in relationship from school&colleges.The truth is that relationship wasn't perfect.If it were you'd still be together.
2)The Movie: TheYou keep thinking about memories.They happend a long time ago&there is no actual footage so the movies you see in your head to make yourself more obssessed and sad are far away from the truth.
Here's The Truth- There were times in the relationship you hated her,you were attracted to other girls,you wanted to be with other girls,you didn't wanna be with her at all-i m saying in between there were certainly such moments.
Solution-
So Two Things:One,accept that she is your past,it's done over,it's gone-Your life is a story and she was a chapter that's behind you and can't be reopened because it's the past.
Two-don't screw the ongoing chapter because you had one in the past.Be happy that you had a great one and try to create even better one.We mostly want life to be great but do very little to make it great.
